New Forums for Members’ Staff
StandardThe MMSST is pleased to announce the launch of two new forums for Members’ Staff, one for Parliamentary Assistants and Researchers and one for staff in Communication and Administration roles.
There are now four dedicated Forums for Members’ staff, each tailored to specific job roles. The forums serve as a space for you to connect with colleagues, ask questions, share best practices, and stay informed about services, training opportunities, and upcoming events.
- Join the Casework Discussion Forumfor staff who handle casework.
- Join the Office Management Forum for staff with office management responsibilities (e.g., Office Manager, Chief of Staff).
- *NEW* Join the Parliamentary Assistants and Researchers Forum
- *NEW* Join the Communications and Administration Forum(e.g., communications manager, communications officer, administration officer).
Full Fact: January Caseworker Discussion Forum
StandardThe guest speakers at the January Caseworker Discussion Forum will be from Full Fact, the fact checkers and campaigners who find, expose and counter the harm done by bad information.

October Caseworker Forum
StandardThe October Caseworker forum is scheduled for Thursday 20 October, 2:30-3:30pm and will be on the topic of ‘The training offer for caseworkers – what do you want?’
It will be led by Tara Cullen of the Members’ Services Team.

Wellbeing – looking after yourself and others
StandardCaseworker Discussion Forum hosted by the Commons Library
The Library, in conjunction with the Members’ Services Team, is pleased to invite you to the Casework Discussion Forum which will take place virtually each month.
The next session is taking place on Thursday 18 August, 9:30-10:30am and will be on the topic of Wellbeing – looking after yourself and others. It will be chaired by Wendy Wilson from the Library.
The Forum will be complemented by a dedicated Teams chat which will allow you to share ideas and best practice, as well as support being on hand from the Library should specialist knowledge be required.
(Please note, you do not have to be a Caseworker to attend these sessions, they are open to any Members’ staff who handle casework.)
