Supporting Carers: Why self-identification matters and what managers and staff need to know

Standard

Following on from Carers Rights Day on 19 November, join ParliCare for an informative session exploring the importance of self-identifying as a carer and how this information helps us better understand, support and represent our caring community across the organisation. The session will highlight why accurate carer data matters and how self-identification can help shape the support and resources available to colleagues with caring responsibilities.

The event will include an introduction to the importance of self-identification and keeping your details up to date in iTrent, followed by a recorded presentation from Carers UK. You’ll also be able to access information about the support available through our internal policies and guidance

The session will conclude with an unrecorded Q&A, providing an opportunity to ask questions and discuss caring responsibilities, available support, and any challenges you may be experiencing.

We hope to see you there.
